GYOZA 餃子

The etymology of Gyoza proves its origin and the direct relationship to the Chinese Jiaozi dumpling.  Using a Japanese-English dictionary and a Chinese-English dictionary proves the direct relationship of the Gyoza to the Jiaozi.  There is no Japanese word for Jiaozi, because Gyoza is really just the Japanese pronunciation of Jiaozi.
