Har Gow 蝦餃 and Dim Sum

I did not find any information about the gender of the makers of har gow, however, in every image I found, it was women making the dumplings. I do believe that this has probably changed over the years, and that men may have been the primary makers of the dumplings when they were first brought into Cantonese eating. There is not strong enough evidence to make a claim about the gender of the makers of har gow, only inferences that can be made based on other research and images.
